Assembling your Hegen Wearable Breast Pump correctly is key to ensuring effective and comfortable expression. Follow the steps below to set it up properly:
Assemble the Seal
Line the Seal along the inner edge of the Pump Body.
Ensure the tab is aligned at either the lower left or lower right corner of the Pump Body for easy removal later.
Attach the Valve
Hook the Valve into place and press down firmly.
Turn the Pump Body upside down and check that the Valve button is securely pressed in.
You should hear a gentle soft “click” sound, indicating that the Valve is securely attached.
Insert the Diaphragm
Turn the Pump Body over and gently insert the Diaphragm.
Make sure the edges of the Diaphragm are properly latched along the rim to form a complete seal.
Secure the Pump Body to the Breast Milk Container
Press the assembled Pump Body firmly onto the Breast Milk Container until it fits snugly and securely.
Attach the Pump Device
Align the Pump Body with the Breast Pump Device and press down gently until it connects firmly.
Fit the Flange and Insert
Attach the Flange onto the Pump Device.
Insert the appropriate Flange Insert size for a more comfortable fit.
