Our pump parts can be sterilised using the following methods:
Boiling
Steam sterilisation
Ultra-violet (UV) sterilisation
Sterilising tablets
UV Sterilisation:
Place transparent parts on the top rack and opaque parts at the bottom
Ensure that parts which come into contact with milk are facing upwards for thorough exposure.
Turn off the steriliser after each cycle to prevent premature aging of products from overexposure of heat
Boiling method:
Bring water to a boil for at least 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat and carefully submerge the pump parts in the hot water.
Remove the parts using sterile tongs and allow them to air dry.
Steam sterilisation:
Please ensure that the steriliser settings are within the acceptable temperature range for the pump parts. Kindly refer to the temperature guidelines provided below.
