Cleaning of Hegen Mealtime Set

Shake off any loose crumbs or debris from the Hegen Mealtime accessories and ensure that a clean and clutter-free area is used for cleaning.

Start by rinsing the items under running water. This helps remove any visible food residues and makes the cleaning process more effective.

Ensure that all items are disassembled for proper cleaning. Use undiluted baby bottle detergent with the non-abrasive sponge or brush to gently scrub the items. (Note that for the Multi-Stage Fork & Spoon with Removable Grip, do remove the silicone grip from the utensils and clean them separately.)

Pay special attention to any crevices or textured areas. Ensure thorough cleaning to remove any trapped food particles.

Rinse the items under running water to remove soap residue completely.

When using a dishwasher (top rack only), avoid high-heat settings like “sanitary clean” or “heat boost” which may distort components.

Allow the items to air dry completely before storing or using it again. Pat dry with a clean, dry cloth if necessary. Alternatively, you can use steriliser with air-dry function.

Should there be a lingering odour with any of the items, wash the items with a mixture of baking soda and water, or use a gentle cleaning solution. Ensure thorough rinsing and ventilation. Avoid using harsh chemicals that may leave residues.
